Who is Simply Transfers?

Simply Transfers is a subsidary of Voyages Loyet, a company specializing in the transportation of people throughout the northern French Alps. In existence for more than 50 years the company provides itself on customer service and security.

Where does Simply Transfers operate?

Simply transfers can provide you with a private transfer service from the following airports: Geneva, Lyon St Exupery, Greonoble St Géoirs and Chambéry and train stations: Lyon Part Dieu, Grenoble, Chambéry Challes Les Eaux, Moutiers, Aime, Bourg St Maurice to any ski resort in the Northern Alpes.

How do I make a reservation?

To reserve you can do so by completing our online booking form and paying using our secure online payment system. Alternatively, you can email us via simply-transfers@loyet.com and we will send you by return all the necessary details.

What details do I need to provide?

We will need the following details: Name, address, mobile telephone number, flight/train numbers and arrival times, no people including babies, no. car seats for babies and children, destination resort and accommodation address, no of skis/snowboards.

Do you offer discounted rates for children?

Sorry, but we are unable to offer discounted rates for children/babies as under European Law they are obliged to have a seat allocated for them.

What is the difference between a shared and private transfer?

A private transfer is a door to door service where you will not have to share the service with any other passenger.. The shared transfer service offers a cost effective method of getting to your ski resort by sharing the transfer with other passengers. You may be required to change buses once in the valley. For shared transfers there are specific drop off/collection points.

When is the latest I can book?

An online booking can be made up to 72 hours prior to travel. After that you will be required to call the office on +33479555628 to check availability.

How much luggage can I bring?

Whether you are booked on a private or a shared transfer you are permitted to bring: one suitcase, one piece hand luggage and one pair of skis or one snowboard. Any more than this and you might be charged a supplement or the excess baggage might be refused due to a lack of space.

How do I modify my booking details?

Please advise us by email all changes to your itinerary. You can make any changes to times and dates up to 2 weeks prior to travel free of charge. For any last minute modifications then please call us on 003379556476

Can I cancel my booking and if so will I get a refund?

You can cancel your booking up to 14 days before travel. Simply Transfers reserves the right to retain a small fee for any bank and/or administration charges that might have occurred. After 14 days you will not be given a refund.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Please advise Simply transfers as soon as possible by calling: 0033479556476 so that we can try and reschedule your transfer.

What happens if my flight is diverted?

If your flight is diverted then please advise us as soon as possible so that we can see if we can accommodate your changes. If this is possible then your first transfer will be cancelled and you will be charged for a new transfer from the new destination. If however we cannot divert the driver then you will have to find other arrangements once you arrive and your original booking will be cancelled without refund.

There are people booked that are arriving on different flights, how do I proceed to book?

Please book your transfers indicating the last flight to arrive and the first flight to depart. Then, in the additional comments box, please advise us of all the flight numbers and times so that we can keep track of the flights.

Do I need to confirm my reservation?

You do not need to confirm the booking. Once we have received payment you will receive a travel voucher that confirms you are booked on to a transfer.

How will I find the driver in the airport?

The driver will be waiting for you as you come through customs. He will have a sign that says Simply Transfers and if you have booked a private transfer the surname of the person that has booked will appear.

How will you know where to drop me off?

For private transfers we will need the full address of your accommodation and the telephone number (where possible).

When and how do I pay for the transfer?

To book a transfer online then you must do so by credit card (visa or mastercard only). We can take bookings online up to 3 days prior to travel after this you must call us to check availability and then pay over the telephone.

What currency will I be paying in?

You will pay in euros.

Are there any supplements?

There are no added on, hidden supplements. However, if you arrive at the airport/station with more people then originally booked then there will be a surcharge of 20€ for each private transfer or the full price for the shared transfer service – all of this is subject to space in the vehicle.

What happens if my luggage is lost during the flight transit?

You will need to make contact with the driver of the vehicle first. If time permits for the driver to wait then you need to then process the claim with the relevant authorities in the airport or station as quickly as possible before taking your transfer. In the event where the bus must leave due to timings then we will put you on the next available transfer.

What happens if I leave something on one of your vehicles?

Please call us on 0033479556476 so that we can look for the lost item. We will then organize to get the lost item to you.
